New Photographic Competition Win a stay at Linthwaite and copies of Experience Seminars 'Essential Guide' DVDs
The Lake District is probably one the most photogenic parts of the UK with its lush landscapes of lakes, pastures, forests and fells. It has inspired poets and painters to create some of their most famous works and now we hope it will inspire you to come up with a unique image that captures the essence of the Lake District in a new photographic competition.
Linthwaite House Hotel, over Lake Windermere and photography training experts, Experience Seminars have got together to offer a superb package of prizes for the winners of this new Lake District Photographic Competition.
You can take as many pictures as you like of a Lake District view and upload them to the Linthwaite website before the end of October 2011. Then get your friends to view your images and vote for their favourite, only one vote per email address.
After the closing date the top 10 photos will be judged by a panel of experts, including Brian Hall from Experience Seminars and Mike Bevans, owner of Linthwaite and John Handy (employee and Member Kendal Photographic Club), to decide the winners.
- The first prize is a luxurious one night stay in the Loft Suite at Linthwaite with dinner, bed and breakfast worth up to £1000
- The second prize is a one night stay at Linthwaite with dinner and breakfast to the value of £300
- The third prize is a voucher to use at Linthwaite to the value of £100.
- In addition the top 10 finalists will each receive a prize of a DVD of either the Essential Guide to Landscape Photography or the Essential Guide to Travel Photography.
